Nineteen crimes turned convicts into colonists. Upon conviction British rogues guilty of a least one of the 19 crimes were sentenced to live in Australia, rather than death. As pioneers in a frontier penal colony, they forged a new country and new lives, brick by brick. This wine celebrates the rules they broke and the culture they built.

Nobody has more experience growing grapes in Marlborough than Allan Scott. Allan planted some of the region's most famous vineyards, including the very first and has worked the land there every vintage since. Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.

Aromas of ripe melon, dried stone fruits and vanilla. The palate is elegant and reflects the nose with a pleasing weight and long dry finish

Pure with a delicate structure, finishing crisp and dry. On the palate, stonefruit and pear flavours dominate, followed up with a touch of citrus at the finish.

A small family winery led by winemaker Simon Waghorn, acknowledged as one of New Zealand's best sauvignon blanc producers.

A wonderful array of aromas; watermelon, baked raspberry, fig and melon with a savoury note of pecorino cheese. This is a dry style Rosé.

An opulent, oaky, buttery and toasty styled Chardonnay created with 100% oak barrel fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation and oak aged in a mix of French and American oak.

Specially selected from two estate-owned Hawke's Bay vineyards, this unoaked Chardonnay offers a creamy palate with melon and peach flavours, without the intrusion of oak. It has a clean, dry finish.

Aromas of lemon curd and stone fruits with apple and cashew. A rich and driving entry with lemon and peach on display early joined by notes of sweet pastry, white stone fruits and grapefruit. Bright focus, lovely poise and very lingering finish.

Babich are one of the longest running producers of Pinot Gris in New Zealand. The wine is Alsace in style, partly barrel-fermented, with mouthfilling body and strong stone-fruit, pear and spice flavours. It is made medium-dry, and is deliciously harmonious, with a rich, well-rounded finish.

This little Rosé has aromas of strawberry and rock melon with spice and stone fruits. Strawberry again on entry with raspberry and apple. Soft and nicely structure with mouth-watering, tangy red fruits. Lively and balanced - dry finish.
