This Reserve Chardonnay is a full-blown, 100-percent barrel-fermented with brand new American oak barrels, 100% malolactic fermentation, sur lie, aged on its lees, and bâtonnage twice a month. When you taste that wine, you might think of a baked apple pie with a dollop of vanilla on top of it. From the decadent aromatics, to the velvety texture, to the complex finish, this is hand-crafted wine at its very best.

Made in a light refreshing style, and alive with aromas of freshly crushed grapes and musk. In the mouth the wine is alive with a vibrant and mouth-filling fruit flavour. This lively and fresh wine has a mild frizzante bubble on the finish. Best enjoyed chilled.

Church Road Chardonnay is a blend of wines from their best vineyards in the Tuki Tuki river valley, grown and crafted to deliver a full-bodied yet refined wine. This cooler wine growing district delivers beautifully fragrant Chardonnay with weight, minerality and fresh natural acidity. Subtle citrus, citrus flower, mineral, ripe melon, fig and hazelnut on the palate. The palate is full but elegant, with a seam of minerality adding length and balance.

A fuller bodied Chardonnay balanced by gentle, fresh acidity and a spine of slate like minerality. Fresh zesty citrus and citrus blossom notes are to the fore with riper, richer stonefruit underlying and providing extra depth. The fruit is overlaid with complexities of roasted nuts, toasted brioche, and a wisp of struck flint and gun smoke. Already drinking exceptionally well, with careful cellaring will continue to mature gracefully for 5 years or more from vintage date.

The finest free run juice was barrel fermented in predominantly older French oak to produce this finely textured, elegant Chardonnay. Vibrant citrus and stonefruit flavours are overlaid with subtle creamy oak and complexities of toasted hazelnut and brioche.

Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. A richly textured Pinot Gris with exceptional aromatics. Pear drop and nectarine aromas are heightened by lifted ginger spice, rose and honeysuckle notes, while the palate is rich and long with a medium dry finish. This wine is well matched with seafood, white meats and many Asian-inspired dishes.
