Richard Emerson loves it when his ears burn. It either means he's being talked about, or he's drinking one of his absolute favourites, a chilli chocolate stout. This luxurious, decadent brew is made with OCHO cocoa nibs, red chillies, and Belgian yeast, giving it a deliciously complex rich plum, raisin, and chocolate flavour, a smooth velvety texture, and of course a warming spicy finish. Don't worry, while Deaf by Chocolate may make your ears tingle a little, it won't actually make you deaf.

A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Just because you don't want a beer, it doesn't mean you don't want a beer. So, Emerson's brewed you a beer. Inspired by the big bold flavours of Bird Dog IPA, but without the bite. Little Bird is an alcohol free IPA, with a deliciously-puritanical, true expression of the hop flavour. It's so tasty, you won't even realise you're not drinking. Until the morning, of course. Dry hopped using New Zealand and USA hops for a super-fresh, super vibrant aroma, with a super-crisp, super-quenching finish.

Emerson's hereby inform you that you are now on the official Naughty List. The mere act of looking at this can is more than enough - whether you drink it or not. Yes, all that good behaviour (ahem) is out the window. So, you may as well indulge in the big bold, intensely tropical flavours of this Double IPA, while inhaling the gooseberry and grape aromas. Don't worry, though, you're in good company.

Commiserations. We regret to inform you that you haven't made the Naughty List. You're officially Nice. If it's any consolation, this beer is no less naughty. A big, bold Hazy Double IPA, with intense citrus and tropical flavours, and blueberry aromas. At 7.8% ABV it's a good one to share, perhaps with one of your Nice friends.

The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

Taieri George is named after the most important Emerson of all - Richard's Dad. Not only was he a founding member of the Taieri Gorge Railway, he was also the brewery's original Chief taster. He particularly enjoyed this drop, brewed with cinnamon, nutmeg and Otago clover honey. In his memory, we release this brew on his birthday. Here's to you, George.

This is a classic West Coast (USA) style IPA. It has a dry finish, with limited malt sweetness, which accentuates the hop flavour and hop bitterness. So the beer is punchy on hop flavour, and firm lingering hop bitterness. The bitterness is 66 IBU - hoppy, bitter, dry.

Epic have used an 'Epic' amount of hops as you would expect from them. Epic have the biggest, juiciest, stickiest Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops they could find. A blend of T90 and Cryo hops to give the maximum desired aromas and flavours. It's like drizzling freshly squeezed passion fruit, mango and pineapple juice across your tongue. 5.3% alc/vol and a super low bitterness and maximum haze, will keep every Hazy-Head happy with being able to sit down and drink a few from the six pack.
